What inspires you??

Reading Corner

Books

Take a moment to ponder:

  • How often do you set aside time to read?

  • Who do you read with?

  • What do you enjoy reading the most? Why?

Add flavor to your personal library: 

  • Read books told from perspectives different than your own to expand your mindset

  • Read romance books to indulge in passion and entertainment

  • Read fantasy books to escape reality and discover wondrous new worlds

  • Read mystery books to exercise your problem solving skills

  • Read adventure books to inspire

Prior to COVID, I read to my children before bed some nights, but not consistently.

Early during the pandemic I began reading to them every night before bed. One chapter. Maybe two.

 

For our family - nightly reading has helped my children relax and ready their bodies and minds for sleep., has cultivated additional family bonding time, and (will hopefully) install a life-long love of reading, They all love it. Even my 12 (going on 15) year old.
